In Matthew 16:15, Jesus said, “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to all creation!”
We, at Just As You Are™, believe the Good News is the message of God’s love for all people expressed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Somewhere, somehow in the world of religion, this was changed from a message of relationship to one of restrictions; from community to conformity; from “whosoever” to “whom we decide.” The loving acceptance of God is not restricted by religious denomination, national origin, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, or any other human derived division.
JAYA™ is not your parent’s church. In fact, it really isn’t church. The most obvious difference is the space. You feel as though you are walking into a cozy cafe, and yet something more. There is also a sense of safety, an atmosphere of conversation, a feeling of home. It is a place to ask questions. After-all, faith is discovered in conversations – our conversations with God, our conversations with one another and our conversations with ourselves.
Just As You Are™ was started as an alternative for those who have become disenfranchised, disenchanted, or just discouraged with “church.” What we have found is that there is a growing number of people who have never stepped foot in church and are not familiar with many of the commonly accepted traditions and rituals, but are still seeking a deeper spiritual connection for their life. We don’t throw traditions out, we just revisit them with a focus on intentional relevance framed in experiencing the unconditional love of God, Just As You Are™.
We invite you to join us in reclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the message of God’s unconditional love for all people. There are no ifs, ands, or buts… there is only a “just” – Just As You Are™.

- Gather a group of believers desiring to move beyond the form of Godliness to embrace the substance of Godliness.
- Be transformed by our faith in the risen Christ into intentionally inclusive expressions of God’s love for all people regardless of who or where we are in God’s diverse creation.
- Encourage service opportunities that encourage the development of the spiritual gifts.
